Summary, etc. Esta tesis emprende una exploración de la obra cuentística de Silvana Ocampo, en la cual se incluyen los siguientes libros: Viaje olvidado (1937), Autobiografía de Irene (1948), La furia (1959), Las invitadas (1961), Los días de la noche (1970), Y así sucesivamente (1987) y Cornelia frente al espejo (1988). La autora analiza además la trayectoria literaria de Silvina Ocampo y realiza un examen de los aportes bibliográficos más relevantes recibidos por Silvina Ocampo. En Viaje olvidado, estudia el proceso de la enunciación, la sintaxis narrativa, las figuras del discurso y la estructura temática. Observa la evolución de las formas narrativas en Autobiografía de Irene, con el texto y su entorno, la duplicación del espacio textual, la inversión y la recursividad. En La furia, Las invitadas y Los días de la noche, se dedica a las paradojas e ironías del discurso narrativo, las estructuras narrativas y nuevamente el proceso de la enunciación. Por último, en Y así sucesivamente y Cornelia frente al espejo, investiga un nuevo tipo de cuento, los motivos y sus temas.
