Summary, etc. Este trabajo es producto de un equipo interdisciplinario que ha abordado la problemática del Mercosur; esto se une a la necesidad de contar con análisis globales y propuestas concretas tendientes a viabilizar este proceso de integración regional y para ello son necesarios estudios comprensivos del mismo. Se trata de un modelo avanzado de integración, la creación de un mercado común entre países periféricos con un alto nivel de dependencia externa. La problemática abarca las dimensiones internacionales, políticas, económicas, comerciales, jurídicas, sociales, educativas, culturales, como también la evaluación de los costos-beneficios de su puesta en marcha.
