El autor ha utilizado para su trabajo documentación española, de archivos y bibliotecas nacionales, y documentos del Ministerio Francés de Asuntos Extranjeros. La tesis es que las dos Españas, la progresista y la conservadora, irreconciliables a lo largo de las luchas políticas, religiosas y sociales de los siglos XIX y XX, no salieron de la España de Carlos III, sino de los años de la Revolución Francesa. |
