Se pone de relieve el poblamiento y la ocupación de los diversos territorios por poblaciones nativas que desplegaron un aprovechamiento creativo de ambientes y recursos, generando modalidades y formas de vida diferentes; las transformaciones representadas por la incorporación de la producción de alimentos; y la creciente complejidad social desarrollada en el último milenio anterior a la llegada de los españoles. -- La conquista se refiere particularmente a la europea, pero también a la conquista previa de los territorios del norte por parte del Inca. -- Finalmente, se considera el proceso colonial que poco a poco fue avanzando sobre los pueblos nativos hasta incorporarlos a su sistema económico, con todos los efectos de desestructuración y cambio que esto implica. |
