The book deals with vocabulary for upper intermediate to advanced students. Its aim is not only to provide learners with useful and important vocabulary, but also to develop their awareness of the meaning and use of words. Book 2 presents key vocabulary associated with certain defined topic areas (eg. the media, housework, etc) and provides material to help students memorize and practise these words. It also presents key vocabulary in context, through units which look at human beings and the world we live in.
